Atelier Utd recorded another hard fought victory last night in what was only their second game and the first with the new allstar Atelier lineup. It was a hard fought game of two halves against Addict FC who were worthy opponents. The final score 12 ? 8 was probably slightly flattering to the boys in green socks but deserved considering the wave of injurys that beset them from the first kick of the ball.

Not unlike the Italian national team Atelier Utd were rolling around on the floor like babys after nearly ever challenge but unlike the Italians we were really injured! Fitness, 1 burst football and a lack of pre match warm ups weren’t going to stop us though, a quick rub of the magic sponge and we were back playing the beautiful game how it was meant to be played. Passers by could have been mistaken for thinking they were watching Brazil with the silky smooth passing on display and off the ball movement which was sublime. The game finally came to end as it started with another injury, this time to Mischa (the cat) in goal… lets all hope he’s recovered for next weeks fixture!
