Atelier Studios is a well-established web design and e-marketing agency based in central Southampton. Our team enjoys an informal and friendly working environment. Due to ongoing expansion and a developing client base, Atelier is now looking for unique individuals to fill the following pivotal role and contribute to the continued growth of the agency.

• Confident presenting work and discussing strategy with clients where required

And have…

• A portfolio that demonstrates a high standard of commercially-focused work (eCommerce would be advantageous but not essential)
• Excellent conceptual skills
• An understanding of branding, marketing and online advertising
• An ability to translate often complex client briefs into intuitive and engaging design concepts
• Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
• A strong understanding of all areas of interactive media and be aware of changing technologies and the opportunities these present creatively
• An enthusiasm for helping to grow the agency and shape its future

Key responsibilities…

• Working with the design team on the design and functionality of interactive projects
• Maintaining a consistent quality of output from the design team
• Working autonomously on multiple projects with tight deadlines with polished results for clients from a range of sectors

Essential experience…

• 1 years+ digital agency experience
• Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash. CSS, W3C and XHTML
• Knowledge of designing E-Commerce and Content Management websites
• A firm understanding of SEO
• Experience of online marketing would be an advantage
• Experience of offline design (brand development, design for print, signage etc) would be an advantage

Working relationships…

• Reporting to the head of design and project manager
• Liaising with the project/studio manager and other designers and developers

Salary…
�23,000 – �28,000 based upon experience
